How to Order from Black Bear

We are a mail order company and welcome your inquiries.

Call us for help estimating your wood requirements. You can order the amount of wood, wire, and NBW's you need.  Prepay your order by check or money order, or charge it to Visa, Master Card, or JCB.  Sales Tax: Texas residents must add 6.75% to the total purchase price.

All prices, discounts, and specifications of products are subject to change without notice.

Allow about a week for delivery.  Expedited shipping is available.

Back Orders:

The minimum back order is $10.  If the original order qualified for free shipping, then the back order will be shipped free.  You will not be charged until the item is shipped.  If your back order is under $10 you may add items to be charged and shipped with it.  Or you may cancel the back ordered item.  Or you may cancel the entire order.

If you add items to the back ordered item, your shipping charge is the difference between $6 and the back order item shipping charge.

To Order over the Web:

The easiest way is to use our secure shopping cart function.  Simply load up your shopping cart and enter your shipping and charge card information.  You can even open a secure account that remembers this information for your next order.

You can access your shopping cart at any time by clicking the green VIEW SHOPPING CART football-shaped button in the upper left corner of any of the price list pages.

To Order by e-mail:

You can send us an e-mail using the "Contact Black Bear" button.  Include the part numbers or other descriptions of what you want to order.  Include a phone number and when you can be reached.  We'll call for a credit card number.  We recommend that you DO NOT SEND YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER via e-mail.

To Order by Mail:

Mail a list of the items you want, your address, phone number, and a check, money order, or Credit Card number and expiration date to Black Bear Construction Co., Inc., at the address below.

To Order by FAX:

FAX your order, along with your Charge Card information to: (512) 985-5110.  This is a shared FAX/voice line so you may have to press #11 to force the fax to go to the fax machine.

To Order by Phone:

Call us at (512) 467-8400. We can help you select the jigs and materials you need. Then we can charge your order to your credit card, or hold it until your check arrives.

Special Orders

Some items may be special ordered from our suppliers. Please call or FAX for availability. Allow 4 weeks for delivery.

Shipping

Please add $7.00 to the cost of your order for shipping and handling. US orders are shipped 2-Day Priority US Mail, Fed Ex Ground, or UPS Ground. Other North American orders are shipped by air.

US orders of over $70 are shipped free of charge. The $7.00 shipping charge is pro-rated for orders between $63 and $70.

Customers outside the United States pay actual shipping charges, with a minimum charge of $7.00.

To estimate your air shipment to Canada or Mexico, add $7.00 plus 10% of your purchase cost to your total bill.  We will refund any overcharges.

To estimate your overseas air mail shipping charge, add 40% to your total bill.  We will refund any overcharges.

Rush Service is available: Pay actual shipping charges for UPS or Fedex shipping.
