Just about any timber trestle built in the last 20 years looks like one of these kits. All the trestle bents have six legs - making them appropriate for any modern setting. You can build the bents with round legs or square legs - with ballasted deck (AT&SF only) or open deck. Trestles built by the Santa Fe (AT&SF) have some unique details, so those kits are listed separately. Trestles built by the SP, WP, UP, Pennsy, and others are very similar and are grouped together. Both pile bents and frame bents were used by most of the railroads. The jig that comes with these kits includes the Leg Cutting Guide, so you can easily model any protoype you wish.
